Please check EACH scholarships you wish to apply for and meet the criteria:
1. Cy-Fair Educational Foundation Assistance Scholarships - Scholarships will be awarded at each high school. Number of awards and amount to be determined by the available funds. Scholarships are anticipated to be in the amounts of $2,000 and $10,000 disbursed over a two-year period.
2. Eric Bassett Memorial Scholarship - One scholarship awarded in the estimated amount of $20,000 funded over a four year period to a senior of Cy-Falls High School or Cy-Fair High School who will attend Texas A & M University. You must have submitted an application and transcript to Texas A & M University to be considered for this scholarship.
3. Cecil Hall Scholarship - Two scholarships awarded over four years with an estimated award amount of $10,000 to CFISD students who will attend Texas A & M University. You must have submitted an application and transcript to Texas A & M University to be considered for this scholarship.
4. Adam Jackson Skinner Memorial Scholarship - One scholarship awarded to a male student from CFISD with high school drama, choir, team sports, debate or Boy Scouts of America participation. Award of $4,000 funded over two years provided the student meets the annual requirements.
5. Dynegy Scholarship - One scholarship in the amount of $500 awarded to a deserving student of CFISD.
6. Watson Family Foundation Scholarship - One scholarship in the amount of $500 awarded to a deserving student of CFISD.
7. Tenet Healthcare Foundation/CyFair Medical Center Scholarship - Three scholarships in the amount of $500 each awarded to a CFISD student who will pursue studies in the healthcare field.
8. Kevin Borgfeldt Memorial Scholarship - One scholarship in the amount of $500 awarded to a student of CyFair High School. Student to receive this award must be in the band program.
9. Charles Cook Memorial Scholarship - One scholarship in the amount of $500 awarded to a FFA student from CyFair High School.
10. John & Cheryl Johns Scholarship - Two scholarships in the estimated amount of $5,000 awarded to students pursuing a major in education, natural sciences or communications.
11. Terry Taylor Memorial Award - An award in the estimated amount of $5,000 for a student pursuing a major in criminal justice.
12. Toshiba Endowment Award - An award in the estimated amount of $5,000 for a student pursuing a major in science, technology, engineering or math.
13. Edwin C. Schroeder Trust Scholarship(s) - Awards in the estimated amount of $1,500 for students attending a campus of the Lone Star College system. Awards available starting in the fall semester and total awards determined based on available funding.
14. CFEF Windfern High School Assistance Scholarships - Two scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each awarded twice a year to a Windfern High School graduate.
15. In Memory of David Boatright - One scholarship in the amount of $2000 awarded to a Cypress Falls High School student with community service or service over academics.
16. The Bridgeland Council Endowment - One scholarship in the amount of $2000 awarded to a Cypress Fairbanks ISD senior that is a resident of Bridgeland.

Recipients must forfeit above scholarships if they receive a scholarship/funding greater than $20,000 from other sources.

If you are chosen as a finalist, your acceptance is subject to the CFEF verification of your submitted high school transcript and tax return information.



Please supply your parent's adjusted gross income as shown on last year's federal income tax return.






Part Three: Activities Information

List on this page the names of all organizations, societies, and/or clubs that you have been or are presently a member of during your 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade years. Also include religious activities, community service involvement, honors, leadership positions or special recognitions you have received.











Part Four: Applicant Essay

In the space below, the STUDENT/APPLICANT is to write a grammatically correct essay which provides background information you feel would demonstrate why you should be a potential recipient of a scholarship and financial assistance. Please include any special circumstances that may help to qualify you for student aid. Please include your career/educational/life goals. This is an important and critical section used in the evaluation of your application, so please use this as an opportunity to be thorough and provide reasons why you should be a selected applicant. (Essay space expands so be thorough)
